In August 2010, the New VW Touran was updated with the newer Golf VI platform, which included new features such as Light-Assist for Xenon Headlights, an improved Park-Assist Method for perpendicular parking positions, infotainment systems & improved aerodynamic.
The Volkswagen Touran was launched in 2003 to fill a gap in the model line-up below the Sharan, VW's large MPV. All VW Touran's come standard with head & side airbags for the front passengers, curtain bags to provide better side protection. Anti-lock brakes & electronic stability control are as well as a standard fit, as well as an alarm.
